A search for fast radio bursts associated with gamma-ray bursts using the YNAO 40-m radio telescope

چکیده
We report on the search results of Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) from three Gamma- ray (GRBs) at 2256 MHz using 40-m radio telescope located YunNan Astronomical Observatory (YNAO). The for signals was triggered by Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) on- board Swift satellite. single pulses are searched in data over a large range dispersion measure 0 to 5000 pc/cm3 step 50 pc/cm3. No FRB-like emission prompt phase GRBs detected with significance > 5?. If there FRBs related GRBs, we set an upper limit ux density 2.5 Jy GRB140512A and 8.0 140629A 140703A sensitivity telescope. A statistical analysis GRB reveals that events above 5? consistent thermal noise uctuations.

Search for gamma-ray bursts with the ANTARES neutrino telescope
Satellites that are capable of detecting gamma-ray bursts can trigger the ANTARES neutrino telescope via the real-time gamma-ray bursts coordinates network. Thanks to the “all-data-toshore” concept that is implemented in the data acquisition system of ANTARES, the sensitivity to neutrinos from gamma-ray bursts is significantly increased when a gamma-ray burst is detected by these satellites. Th...
متن کاملGamma-Ray Bursts from Radio-Quiet Quasars
We study positional coincidences between gamma-ray bursts in the BATSE 3B catalogue and quasars/AGN taken from the Véron-Cetty & Véron compilation. For most classes of AGN, for BL Lac objects and for radio-loud quasars, we find no excess coincidences above random expectation, and we give upper limits for their burst emission rate. However, surprising evidence is found for a positional correlati...
متن کاملOn the Radio Afterglow of Gamma Ray Bursts
We use the cannonball (CB) model of gamma ray bursts (GRBs) to predict the spectral and temporal behaviour of their radio afterglows (AGs). A single simple expression describes the AGs at all times and frequencies; its high-frequency limit reproduces the successful CB model predictions for optical and X-ray AGs. We analyze all of the observed radio AGs of GRBs with known redshifts, including th...
متن کاملOn Associating Fast Radio Bursts with Afterglows
A radio source that faded over 6 days, with a redshift z ≈ 0.5 host, has been identified by Keane et al. (2016) as the transient afterglow to a Fast Radio Burst (FRB 150418). We report followup radio and optical observations of the afterglow candidate, and find a source that is consistent with an active galactic nucleus (AGN). If the afterglow-candidate is nonetheless a prototypical FRB aftergl...
متن کاملAre Radio Sources and Gamma Ray Bursts Luminal Booms?
The softening of a Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) afterglow bears remarkable similarities to the frequency evolution in a sonic boom. At the front end of the sonic boom cone, the frequency is infinite, much like a GRB. Inside the cone, the frequency rapidly decreases to infrasonic ranges and the sound source appears at two places at the same time, mimicking the double-lobed radio sources. Although a “lu...
